Responsibilities: • Daily office attendance, serving as the welcoming face of our medical clinic. Facilitating patient check-ins, history-taking, and vital sign assessments where needed and contributing to the smooth functioning of the office on a day-to-day basis, • Serves as the compassionate, welcoming presence at our clinic each dayplaying a vital role in supporting patients from the moment they walk through our doors.This is a highly patient-facing and emotionally rewarding position, ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a deep sense of empathy. A major focus of this role is engaging with patients receiving care through our Advanced Depression Servicesincluding TMS, Spravato, and ketamine therapyby providing hands-on support, education, and comfort throughout their healing journey. Under the supervision of our medical team, youll help manage appointments, communicate treatment expectations, and serve as a steady source of reassurance and care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on meaningful human connection and is driven to make a real difference in the lives of individuals facing depression and other mental health challenges., • Managing patient check-outs and scheduling follow-up appointments, • Assisting patients with medication refills and promptly addressing patient inquiries and messages, • Facilitating patient access to novel mental health therapies, including TMS and ketamine treatment for depression, through prior authorizations and access support, • Providing education and supporting the care of patients on novel and very effective depression therapies like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and ketamine (Spravato) treatments., • Conducting TMS therapy sessions for patients, including patient mapping, setup for therapy, and overseeing daily sessions by creating a supportive and nurturing environment for those undergoing treatment in our Bountiful office, • Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA), • Experience as a medical assistant, with a keen interest in psychological treatments and mental health care, • Familiarity with or interest in learning the prior authorization process and administrative procedures, particularly in a mental health setting, • Interest in and enthusiasm for the psychology field, particularly in novel therapies such as TMS therapy and ketamine treatment for depression, • Compassionate and empathetic approach, dedicated to providing exceptional support to patients undergoing mental health treatments, • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for creating meaningful patient relationships, • Ability to work closely with providers, offering and receiving support, and striving for mutual growth and development Schedule: Monday-Friday, Approximately 8:30 am - 5:30 pm This position is full-time time working 35+ hours per week in ourSalt Lake Cityoffice. Hourly pay based on experience.
