Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and dependable Bar Food Runner / Barback to support bartenders and kitchen staff in delivering fast, efficient, and high-quality service. This role is essential to keeping bar operations running smoothly by assisting with food delivery, bar setup, restocking, and cleanliness. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy environment, works well under pressure, and takes pride in supporting the team. Key Responsibilities Food Running * Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the bar and guest tables promptly and accurately * Ensure food is presented properly and meets quality standards before delivery * Communicate with kitchen and bar staff regarding order timing and special requests * Assist with clearing plates and maintaining clean service areas Barback Support * Stock and restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and napkins * Keep bar stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service * Assist bartenders during peak hours to ensure fast and efficient drink service * Remove empty bottles, trash, and recycling; maintain cleanliness behind the bar * Help with bar opening and closing duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills • MUST be at least 18 years old Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Attention to detail and sense of urgency * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during busy shifts * Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays * Prior bar or restaurant experience preferred but not required What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay plus tip share * Flexible scheduling * Team-oriented, energetic work environment * Opportunities for advancement within the bar or restaurant MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills * Must be a team player * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays * Must be age 18 or older WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Must be able to lift 30 pounds * May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors * Facility has intermittent noise Job Posted by ApplicantPro
