Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science and Maths Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 Science and Maths. This position offers flexibility with one or two hours of immediate availability per week, with the potential for increased hours as our company continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Science and Maths for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
Provide personalised support and guidance to help students improve their understanding and performance in these subjects.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure learning objectives are met.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to provide feedback and updates on student progress.
Requirements:
Must have Enhanced DBS
Bachelor's degree in Science, Maths, or related field.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not necessary, particularly with KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
Strong subject knowledge and expertise in the Science and Maths curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel to lessons within Central London - The most immediate position is located in St John’s Wood (NW8).
