Since our inception in autumn 2011, we have been dedicated to providing our guests with an unparalleled all-day grazing experience, specializing in authentic dim sum, modern Cantonese, and traditional Shanghai cuisine with a twist. We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and supporting the overall financial operations of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and other financial documents.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
Support the payroll process by maintaining accurate employee records and processing timesheets.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as required. Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A relevant qualification/degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in the Chinese language is highly preferred, as the job involves communication with Chinese suppliers and business partners.
