***Only taking in-person applications*** ***Monday-Friday 10am-6pm*** We are looking for a personable counter attendant to welcome our guests in a friendly and polite manner. The counter attendant’s responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, attending to customers’ requests, serving food or packaging it for takeaway, and accepting payments. To be successful as a counter attendant, you will carefully listen to customers to ensure accuracy when taking requests and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities. A top-notch counter attendant should always strive to deliver outstanding customer service. Counter Attendant Responsibilities: Greeting customers as they arrive and making them feel welcome. Directing customers to their seats and the restroom, answering questions about the menu, and making note of special requests, if required. Serving food to diners from a counter or, if seated, taking their orders. Communicating food and drink orders to the kitchen staff. Assembling and packaging takeaway orders. Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters, tableware, and utensils clean. Replenishing food supplies when required. Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments. Complying with company policies. Counter Attendant Requirements: A high school diploma or GED. Previous customer service experience is preferred. Working knowledge of promoting, selling, and packaging food products. The ability to process bills and cash registers. Experience working with POS systems. The ability to adhere to and uphold sanitization standards. Excellent listening and communication skills. A positive attitude and a polite and friendly demeanor.

Naughty Waffle serves amazingly delicious, sweet waffles filled with chocolate spreads or PB spreads, fresh fruits, and nuts. All made to order, made freshly in front of our customers. Location: Bryant Park, NYC. This is a temporary job where you will manage daily duties such as make waffles, cashier, & clean and set up. **On the job training. No experience necessary.**It will run for the entire month of May. The start date will be Friday May 3rd. Hours can be in two shifts | 11 am - 4 pm or 4 pm - 7pm or work both shifts if that works for you. Friday - Sunday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. You must be available to meet with the owner by May 2nd. Have a Social Security # or Identification #. $15 an hour is the max pay per hour, + tips. we do not take taxes out, you will need to report that. You will receive a W-2 at the end of the year.

Job Description: As an Ice Cream Server/Cashier, you will be the face of AURELIA at various events, providing top-notch customer service and serving our delicious gelato and sorbet. This role includes setting up and breaking down event spaces, operating cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards. - The events will be in various locations throughout NYC (Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens). - We have events every Saturday and Sunday, as well as other days on most weeks. Responsibilities: - Serve gelato and sorbet to event attendees. - Manage transactions and operate the cash register. - Assist in loading and unloading equipment from a van at event locations, with the help of other team members. All heavy equipment (over 50 lb) is on wheels and there is a ramp available for use. - Set up and break down the event booth. - Ensure the serving area remains clean and organized. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
