Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Human Resources Office Manager. The Human Resources Office Manager will be responsible for day-to-day HR tasks, including HR management, benefits administration, creating and enforcing HR policies, and training and development. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll transactions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will collaborate closely with HR and Finance departments to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and provide exceptional service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees. Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime hours. Process payroll transactions accurately and on time. Review and reconcile payroll data before finalizing payments. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Prepare and submit payroll tax returns, including W-2 and 1099 forms. Keep abreast of changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary updates. Generate payroll reports for management and auditors as required. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information. Update employee payroll records for changes in status or benefits. Monitor paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and other absences. Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues. Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related problems. Systems Management: Utilize payroll software to process payments and maintain records. Ensure the integrity and security of payroll systems and data. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of new payroll software or upgrades. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role. In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and tax laws. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Discretion in handling confidential information. WE ARE HIRING RESIDENTIAL The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides assistance to participants who need help with daily living skills, and other activities such as, activity development and training in social interaction. This position assists participants with bathing, feeding, toileting, laundry, and other self-care responsibilities. The DSP is responsible for safely accompanying participants to community resources, medical appointments, and other approved activities. The position is responsible for completing progress notes and making appropriate entries into the daily log book. FULL-TIME SHIFTS M-F 3PM-11PM, 4PM-12AM, 12AM-8AM, SAT AND SUN, 8AM-8PM, 8PM-8AM Medical Assistant/Direct Support Professional DRIVER LICENSE REQUIRED This position performs the duties listed under the DSP position in addition to assisting the participant with achieving and maintaining good health, provide support and help the participant achieve their goals in life, and live as independently as possible. They would also be responsible for scheduling and escorting the participants to medical appointments and acting as an advocate and liaison while on appointments. Administer medication, check MAR sheets and maintain participant medical records in compliance with OPWDD standards. Prepare case notes, read and make appropriate entries in facility logs daily. Review communication logs, Medication Administration Log and Medical Log at beginning of each shift. Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the residents’ Plan of Care. Accompany participants to Cardio Club and participate in activities and carry out fire drills, evacuations and emergency procedures.
