Job Description Fitometry Health Club is seeking a dynamic Group Fitness Manager to lead, grow, and elevate our Group Fitness experience. This role is for a builder, motivator, and culture driver — not someone looking to simply maintain a schedule. This Is Not a Maintenance Role The Mission The Group Fitness Manager is responsible for creating energy, consistency, accountability, and emotional attachment through world-class group fitness programming. You will own the member experience, instructor performance, and program growth — not just logistics. What You’ll Lead (Not Just Manage) Program Leadership & Growth • Design and evolve a strategic, data-driven group fitness program, • Regularly assess class performance using attendance, engagement, and member feedback, • Launch, pilot, and refine new formats that align with Fitometry’s brand and member journey, • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-energy, high-standards instructors, • Set clear expectations around class quality, professionalism, and member engagement, • Conduct ride-alongs, observations, and feedback sessions, • Ensure classes are welcoming, inclusive, and consistently well-run, • Address member feedback proactively and professionally, • Partner with Membership, Training, and Operations teams to create seamless member journeys, • Be visible on the floor and in classes, • Lead with presence, positivity, and professionalism, • Set the tone for energy, cleanliness, punctuality, and preparation, • Align schedules and programming with peak usage and club priorities, • Support retention, referrals, and secondary revenue through group fitness engagement You are: • A leader, not a scheduler, • Comfortable having hard conversations when standards aren’t met, • Energized by growth, change, and accountability, • Highly organized but people-first, • Someone who avoids conflict or accountability, • Someone looking to “just cover classes”, • Someone resistant to feedback, change, or performance tracking, • Prior experience teaching and/or managing group fitness programs, • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable, • Availability for peak class times (early mornings, evenings, some weekends), • Part-Time or Full-Time available, based on experience and scope, • Competitive compensation aligned with leadership responsibility Fitometry Health Club isn’t a traditional health club.
