Job Summary: As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist at CunEx Inc, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of trucks, vans, and tractors in top working condition. (Note: This is an office position) Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance: Deligate routine and preventive maintenance on trucks, vans, and equipment, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire replacements, and more. Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, making necessary repairs promptly. Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records and service history for each vehicle and equipment. Parts Management: Order and manage inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability and efficient use of resources. Safety Compliance: Ensure all vehicles are compliant with federal, state, and local safety regulations. Emergency Repairs: Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, providing prompt repairs to minimize downtime. Training: Assist in training drivers and staff on vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Cost Control: Implement cost-effective maintenance practices to manage operational expenses. Vendor Management: Liaise with external service providers and suppliers for specialized repairs and maintenance. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or automotive certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance or automotive repair. Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, as well as vehicle electrical systems. ASE certification or other relevant certifications (preferred). Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of FedEx Ground fleet maintenance standards (preferred).
