Job Description Summary: Streetwork Project Lower East Side is an innovative program for homeless youth providing drop-in, crisis shelter, and outreach, utilizing a harm reduction approach. Under this umbrella, Senior Case Managers provide comprehensive services to adolescents and young adults impacted by homelessness and involved in street activities (gangs, violence, drug use/sale, and survival sex). Services provided by Senior Case Manager include assessment, case planning, case facilitation and management, counseling, referrals, outreach, crisis transportation, daily living services (food, shower, respite), triage counseling, recreational activities and support groups. The Senior Case Manager also works alongside program leadership in providing input towards program planning to meet the mental health and substance use harm reduction needs around staff development and client services. Senior Case Manager coordinates with Safe Horizon supporting programs and local agencies to provide short- and long-term care necessary to meet the wide range of needs related to homeless adolescents. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Peer Mentor + Driver for our Harm Reduction Services conducts outreach to drug using populations to engage persons in services, provides individual education to reduce health-related harm from injection and other drug use, facilitates enrollment in Opioid Use Disorder Medicated Assisted Treatment programs when desired, conducts sterile syringe exchange, trains on opioid overdose reversal, and facilitates HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) counseling and testing. This individual also is the primary driver for our Mobile Health Unit. The SPM works in the community, on CHASI’s mobile health unit, and in office-based settings to reach long-term and newer substance users, to partner with them as they set their own goals for improving their health and well-being, and to help them navigate service systems to achieve those goals. This position works 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day; flexibility required for occasional Friday or weekend events. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide timely services as the Mobile Health Unit Driver to and from all scheduled activities, including some weekends., • Adhere to the protocol for acceptable divers as outlined in the agency driving policies and procedures. Job Description This role involves investigating and characterizing the solid forms of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including polymorphs, salts, co-crystals, and amorphous forms. Some of the responsibilities include designing and executing solid form screening studies to identify optimal forms for drug development based on properties, other responsibilities include growing single crystals or conducting high throughput screening. • Physical form screening with established protocols to identify novel crystalline forms including polymorphs, solvates, salts and cocrystals under the guidance of a scientific supervisor., • Physical measurements on samples to support chemical process and pharmaceutical formulation development., • Independently execute laboratory experiments and present results in a contextualized manner., • Data processing, interpretation and documentation., • Maintain stock salt solutions, solvents and chemicals up to date., • Calibration and routine maintenance of common laboratory equipment., • Ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment by following all applicable safety protocols and guidelines.Qualifications, • Completed Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration, • 3+ years of experience working in industry lab setting, • Experience with analytical techniques such as XRPD, DSC AND TGA-IR, • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for sales of Eurofins Discovery portfolio comprising of chemistry, pharmacology, both products and services within the assigned territory or region with the goal of achieving the sales targets for the region., • Proficient understanding of the drug discovery process and selling the portfolio to the US client base., • Prospect for the client persona that requires services or products for use in drug discovery., • Develop and support client relationships through various collaborative approaches including frequent face to face meetings., • Provide recommendations and feedback for operational strategy needed to meet client requirements., • Build and document territory and regional business plans that will define how sales targets will be accomplished.
