We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Associate Vice President (AVP) for our Construction Department to join our team at a crucial stage in our company's growth. Responsibilities: Construction Underwriting Analysis • Analyze construction project documents submitted by our borrowers, including the scope of work, quotes, plans, permits, and project schedules., • Review the borrower's submitted scope of work and conduct due diligence to understand the project's feasibility and the client's operational capacity., • Review loan files, establish the risk of the proposed project, and make an independent final call., • Evaluate borrower and contractor experience, • Communicate time-sensitively with sales, operations, servicing, credit, and capital markets teams regarding construction risk before and after closing., • Deliver analysis to the valuation department, recommend loan terms and conditions, and collaborate to resolve any project concerns., • Become the in house expert on construction along the eastern seaboard, with particular emphasis on New York City, • Regularly visit proposed projects and projects that are underway Pushing the Department Forward • Collaborate with Servicing and our Diligence team to check in on and track construction projects that are delayed, • Contribute to making our construction underwriting process more data driven, • Assist in continuous improvement of our Ground Up Construction guidelines, • Help establish relationships with clients and general contractors that could help with any construction loans that are distressed, • Help build a database of past construction projects Requirements: • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field., • 4+ years' experience in construction lending or construction management industry., • Strong understanding of construction procedures and terminologies., • Experience in reviewing construction contracts, budgets and scopes of work., • Experience with residential construction projects (single family and/or multifamily), • Working knowledge of New York zoning laws, permit pathways, and entitlements processesAbility to understand construction project plans and specifications., • Proficiency in project management and construction budgeting., • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills through emails and phone calls., • Previous experience in team management or leadership roles, • Possess a strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. As an independent Sales Contractor, youll own your territory and have the freedom to manage your pipeline, connect with key decision-makers, and represent Pressure Kings high-performance cleaning solutions. Your mission: build relationships, identify opportunities, and drive growthwhile building your own success story. Responsibilities (): • Cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with key decision makers; ranging from local municipalities to regional and national private businesses., • Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure and post-sale support., • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our cleaning equipment., • Provide post-sale support, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.Qualifications, • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in industrial, janitorial, or chemical supply., • Strong understanding of procurement / buying processes of industrial and commercial customers., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets., • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, degreasers, or maintenance supplies, • Willingness to travel as needed for key accounts or trade events.
