MetroPlusHealth is hosting the 3rd local job fair at our Flushing Community Office on Tuesday, June 11,2024 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. We will be taking walk-ins the day of and the walk-ins can scan the QR Code when they attend. Onsite job interview is available by participating vendors. We have about 6+ community/business partners (Charles B. Wang Health Center, Tribeca Pediatrics, Royal Care, GNC, T-Mobile, Keen Care Management, including MetroPlusHealth) at this event offering at least 30 available positions. Additional positions may open as it gets closer to the job fair date. The participating organizations are recruiting for full-time or part-time positions. Here are the specific positions: Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Sales Representative I, Medicare Sales Representative I, MLTC Sales Representative, Call Center Representative I, Patient Services Representative, Care Management Specialist (Mental Health, Internal Medicine), Facilitated Enroller, IPA/Navigator, Outreach Coordinator (Bilingual in English-Chinese/Korean/Spanish/Bengali speaking); Custodian, Healthcare Coordinator (Spanish, Chinese), Healthcare Customer Service Representative, and Facilities Associate.

We Clean Hospitality Specific daily tasks include: Custodian duties and responsibilities Cleaning Sweep, mop, and wax floors of classrooms, offices, halls, kitchen, and bathrooms of center so that they are kept in a clean and sanitary condition. Clean all bathrooms including fixtures, urinals, toilets, washbowls, and wall tiles. Clean stairs, walks, play yards as needed Restock all the disposables such as soap and toilet paper Clean mirrors and windows Remove garbage and trash, clean containers Care for cleaning equipment used Dust and wash down walls Clean light fixtures Inform director of needed sanitary and cleaning supplies, repairs and replacements of cleaning equipment Other related duties as assigned Custodian requirements Some experience with use of cleaning equipment and appliances Attention to detail Good physical strength Ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Full Job Description JOB POSTING Job Title: Housekeeping Job Location: University Consultation Center 1020 Grand Concourse Professional South Wing Suite 26 Bronx, NY 10451 Department: Operations Job Description: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Performs routine tasks and activities in connection with ensuring that scattered site apartments units are properly maintained, safe and sanitary at all times. Cleans and disinfects all apartments prior to new occupancy, On call on a 24 hr. basis for emergencies. Insures apartments are free of violations and not in need of repair. Protect client confidentiality according to agency policy. May replace light bulbs and fuses throughout apartments, as necessary. Performs minor repairs in apartments such plastering, changing locks on doors and other general repairs. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment. Establishes and maintains a preventive maintenance schedule of each apartments as well as weekly to monthly inspections. Ability to react calmly when dealing with clients, good knowledge of housekeeping practices and principles, adhere to agency and program policies and procedures.
