Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations and ensure the safe handling and storage of customer goods. This role is essential to maintaining our high service standards and operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Load and unload household goods from trucks and trailers., • Perform quality control inspections to ensure items are properly protected and stored., • Scan items into and out of storage using the warehouse management system., • Stack, organize, and handle cargo in wooden vaults., • Maintain accurate inventory records and logs., • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times., • Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned. Training Requirement All new hires for the Queens warehouse will complete 1–2 weeks of training at our Bronx location, depending on how quickly they learn the role and become comfortable with the responsibilities. What you will own • Full cycle recruitment for corporate and leadership hiring: sales, operations, dispatch, logistics, marketing, finance, and management roles through the VP level. Intake, sourcing, screening, interview process design, offer negotiation, and close., • Hiring manager partnership. You define the role with the manager before it opens, calibrate early, and hold the process to a standard instead of chasing whoever moves fastest., • The ATS as system of record. Postings, pipeline hygiene, candidate communication, clean data., • Hiring metrics that leadership actually uses: time to fill, source quality, offer acceptance, cost per hire, and where the process is breaking., • Oversight of the field recruitment process currently run by the HR team. You are not doing the volume screening yourself. You set the standard, watch quality and throughput by market, and step in when a location falls behind., • Depending on level, this role may include a management line into our global recruiting and sourcing team. The Claims Adjuster is responsible for the day-to-day management of client claims, ensuring fair, timely, and accurate handling under contractual and federal liability rules. They serve as the primary point of contact for clients, balancing empathy with strict adherence to regulations, and protecting both the client's rights and the company's interests. Key Responsibilities • Investigate claims by reviewing documentation, photos, bills of lading, contracts, and inspection reports., • Communicate directly with clients to collect information, clarify details, and manage expectations., • Prepare detailed liability assessments in line with federal law (Carmack Amendment) and valuation agreements., • Collaborate with dispatch, foremen, and warehouse staff to verify documentation accuracy., • Determines responsible parties for the inconveniences caused., • Maintain accurate claim records, supporting files, and settlement offers in the claims system., • Prepare resolution offers balancing contractual liability with goodwill adjustments where appropriate., • Ensure all claims are resolved within established timelines to avoid escalation. Skills and Qualifications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to de-escalate tense client situations., • Knowledge of moving industry liability frameworks (RVP, FVP, Carmack Amendment)., • Analytical and detail-oriented, with ability to review documentation critically., • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, dispatch, and finance teams., • Strong written skills to draft clear, professional settlement offers and letters.
