    Our client, an international leading company in the field of ophthalmology, is looking for an HR Business Partner in Germany with high potential to support its business. This position is well-connected to the business and visible within the matrix organization. As an HR Business Partner, you will be the first point of contact for all HR topics, taking on the responsibility for around 300 persons based in German locations. Your responsibilities: - Act as a Business Partner to a defined client base to provide HR expertise, guidance, advice and provide coaching and a proactive strategic partnership with leaders. - Consult with the Management Team and all other employees on Employment Law, HR Policies, HR Processes, Compensation, etc. - Provide performance management expertise and assistance to sustain the highest quality workforce. - Review career structures for developmental purposes (e.g. Performance reviews, talent assessment, succession planning based on future potential). - Manage recruitment activities with client base, including definition of recruitment strategy and interviewing. - Develop and maintain productive relationships with Work Council and lead Work Council negotiations. Additionally, manage labour law topics. - Implementation of employment policies and procedures relevant to the business needs, as well as other HR topics. Your Profile: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. Master's degree would be a plus. - Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients, and also in an international environment. - Possess problem-solving and analytical capability; experience in managing and analyzing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short-, medium and long-term plans. - A proven hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable. Problem-solver. - Ability to influence and work in a matrix organization. - Ideally experienced in collaboration with the German Work Council. - Advanced written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
