We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our client, a very well established Italian restaurant in Kensington and Chelsea. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Working 45/48 hours x week (5 day / 2 days off during the week) Duties: - Greet guests and escort them to their tables - Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings - Take accurate food and drink orders from guests - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal - Upsell additional items, such as desserts or specialty drinks, to enhance the dining experience - Process payments and provide accurate change - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations Qualifications: - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but not required - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of food safety practices - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Basic understanding of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques Benefits: Performance related bonus 28 days paid holiday (per year): 2-weeks holidays in August; 1-week holidays in January; 1-week holidays starting on Easter Monday Closed on Monday including Monday Bank Holiday Pension plan Structured training program for all new employees Annual staff event If you are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and thrive in a dynamic restaurant environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
