Team Member - up to £13.00 per hour (E14 9GQ) At Abokado we prepare fresh salads, rice bowls, sushi, breakfast and organic coffee for our wonderful customers in locations across London. We’re looking for Team Members to work in our busy kitchens helping make our “feel great” food. What we offer: Starting pay £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience) Mon-Fri only (no weekend working!) FT and PT opportunities Guaranteed hours - 35hrs (no minimum hours contracts) Overtime. Monthly payments. My Neighbours the Dumplings is a family-run business with 2 local neighbourhood restaurants in East London, specialising in hand-made dumplings and dim sum style dishes made from scratch in-house. We originally started out as a successful pop-up before opening our first restaurant in lower Clapton in 2016. In Summer 2019 we opened our second restaurant in the heart of Victoria Park village. What we do: Offering a selection of dumplings and small plates served family-style to share. Our dedicated Dumpling Team hand-makes all of our dumplings from scratch each day, whilst our Kitchen Team prepares the rest of the menu and handles our two daily services. We work closely with our specialist suppliers to showcase high-quality East/SE Asian ingredients and produce alongside sustainable British meat & seafood. Why we do it: Our menu is a reflection of our diverse restaurant family. It focuses mainly on Cantonese and other Chinese regional recipes and flavours but also draws inspiration from other East and South-East Asian cuisines, combining traditional techniques, family recipes and fond food memories with new ideas contributed by our teams. We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to work closely with our lovely Restaurant Manager to inspire, motivate and lead the front of house team in order to continuing achieving excellent guest satisfaction at Sanzio’s Restaurant. Ideally we are after someone who can take Managers position by October this year. Experience: ideally some managment experience . But you must have skills for excellent communicator and natural leadership. If you do not have assistant manager experience you must have experience of a waiter, senior water, or head waiter for at least 1 full year with references. Sanzio’s standard are very high, and we are passionate about delivering amazing experience for our guests. Our trainings are well monitored and full support is offered. Hours: between 42-48h per week - shifts operated - but we will adjust hours as per your needs. As we are a boutique family owned restaurant and our customers are 95% local people, you will have insight in the full running of the restaurant. You roll will include: • Help build and maintain an efficient team of employees • During the service time help to provide an efficient service • Help with the training of new staff • Be a role model, having positive approach to team and work duties
WHAT WE LOOK FOR: We are looking for an experienced (minimum 1 year in similar role) and ambitious Junior Sous Chef. The right candidate has a passion for leading a team through guidance and training. You should have passion for food and showcasing great ingredients. This is a Production based role, you will be supporting the Head and Sous Chef. Your job roles will include taking care of placing the food orders and ensuring that all produce is put away and stored correctly we use the best produce nature has to offer and have a top tier list of suppliers we take a lot of pride in ensuring were sourcing our food from ethical, responsible sources. You will also be expected in assisting on running the day to day operations as well as arguably the most important factor up keeping the high food standards and compliance. We make large quantities of fresh and filled pasta daily along with the sauces from the current menu which changes monthly to make sure were getting the best of the seasons. We also made bread in house daily, one of the things we take a lot of pride in.
