About AGORA AGORA is a vibrant restaurant inspired by the energy of Athens’s markets and streets, and the flavours of Greece and wider levant. Located in the heart of London’s thriving Borough Market, it is the latest project by the dcco. collective [ manteca, SMOKESTAK ]. A site within the world-famous London Bridge location has been thoughtfully restored with repurposed, natural materials evocative of the raw, Greek landscapes it is inspired by. At its centre, a custom-built rotisserie where whole animals are spit roasted over open fires, whilst hand pulled flatbreads and seasonal vegetables baste beneath. In the coals, pots of hearty, humble dishes gently stew, whilst nearby at the stone slab bar, cocktails are served alongside premium roasted coffee and rustic baked goods. Our cooking focuses on minimizing waste and maximising flavour by honouring the innovative, resourceful cooking techniques of the cultures behind it. Our hosting strives to match the hospitality of the warmth of these cultures, too. We are supplier led with evolving menus that showcase the best of the season. The ideal candidate will have a natural warmth for people and feed off the adrenalin of a busy service. While experience in a similar role is preferred, there is always opportunity for those who represent true hospitality. Prior experience in a similar setting desirable but not essential. About Pedibus Pedibus is London's original Party Bike. Since 2008, we have run tours around London for private parties and celebrations, on our fleet of party bikes. The Role We are looking to hire a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our business as an Events Host & Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing fantastic customer service and ensuring the safe, efficient and enjoyable operation of our bikes. They will have an interest in people, outdoor activities, hospitality, and will be keen to learn and develop within the role. We are looking to hire 2 people to join our team of Event Hosts & Drivers for the Summer 2024 season. The role is based at London Bridge, and is pre-dominantly a Saturday job. Key Responsibilities Delivering excellent customer service to all Pedibus visitors. Delivering safety instructions pre-tour, and monitoring the customers throughout their journey. Driving our bikes around London, on pre-defined routes, with safety in mind at all times. Interacting with our customers throughout, taking photos, and joining in with their fun. Being a good brand ambassador, in view of the general public. Reporting on the day's tours in a de-brief at the end of each day. Occasional ad-hoc duties, as deemed necessary by management.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR: We are looking for an experienced (minimum 1 year in similar role) and ambitious Junior Sous Chef. The right candidate has a passion for leading a team through guidance and training. You should have passion for food and showcasing great ingredients. We make large quantities of fresh and filled pasta daily along with the sauces from the current menu which changes monthly to make sure were getting the best of the seasons. We also made bread in house daily, one of the things we take a lot of pride in.
