We are looking for a Legal Counsel for the EMEA Region to join the RES Services team. You will advise on contracts across EMEA operations, ensure legal compliance, manage risks, and collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to support our renewable energy projects. Key Functions • Manage a varied workload across multiple business units, including O&M, spare parts, asset management, framework agreements, guarantees, bonds, and governance documents, • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, providing clear legal guidance to operational and technical teams, • Collaborate with Services legal team and relevant business units, • Liaise with external legal advisors, ensuring quality, consistency, and value for money, • Support legal compliance across EMEA jurisdictions, • Identify and mitigate risks, proposing practical, business-focused solutions, • Oversee contract governance and compliance with corporate policies and procedures, • Provide training to internal teams on processes and best practices, • Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technical, Business Development, Procurement, Operations, HR) to support business objectives Requirements • Law degree, admitted to practice in Spain, with experience in commercial or corporate law, • +4 years PQE, ideally with renewable energy or infrastructure experience, • Strong expertise in commercial contracts and regulatory matters, • Bilingual Spanish–English, • Excellent communication skills, able to explain legal concepts clearly to technical and operational teams, • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical solutions, • Proactive, collaborative, and analytical mindset At RES we celebrate difference as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
