English Teacher Needed at Escuela Municipal de Idiomas in Villa de Don Fadrique, Toledo
We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team at the Escuela Municipal de Idiomas. Classes will run from Monday to Friday, serving groups of approximately 15 students of varying ages and proficiency levels, as determined by an initial placement test.
Schedule:
Group Classes: 1-hour sessions, twice per week
Friday Sessions: 2-hour sessions for more intensive learning Qualifications:
Native or non-native English speakers with a relevant English teaching certification (TOEFL, RSA, University Degree, or equivalent).
Experience teaching all ages and proficiency levels (children, adults, beginners, and advanced learners).
Ability to manage diverse classrooms and integrate engaging activities to enhance the learning process.
Familiarity with online materials as there will not be any physical books and the teacher will provide all exercises, texts, listening etc in collaboration with the coordinator so to fit the level and target of the class. Responsibilities:
Conduct classes in a structured yet dynamic manner, encouraging language development.
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and prepare term reports.
Collaborate with our coordinator, José Antonio Medina, who will oversee the learning process, manage classroom tasks, communicate with parents, and ensure teaching standards are maintained. Commitment:
18-20 hours per week over the course of two academic years. The first year runs from November 2024 to June 2025, and the second year from September 2025 to June 2026. For the selection process, candidates will be invited to participate in an online interview with our coordinator, José Antonio Medina.
Job offer:
We offer a work contract with a rate of 11€ per hour. Further details will be provided in the interview.
