ABOUT THIS ROLE: As a Legal Counsel, in the Legal Department your role will be: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide clear, strategic legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters across the organization., • Proactively identify potential legal risks and offer practical solutions to mitigate them., • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to software, financial services, and other business needs., • Support internal stakeholders with legal analysis on key issues including data protection, payment services, and anti-money laundering., • Advise on a variety of European legal matters, such as employment, vendor agreements, and real estate leases. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensed to practice law in Spain and admission to the Spanish Bar., • Juris Doctor or L.L.M. from a university located in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand (strongly preferred)., • Licensed to practice law in any commonwealth jurisdiction (desired)., • Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory).
