Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hotel Regional Projects Deputy Senior Director (Architect/Engineer) to oversee and manage a portfolio of hotel construction and renovation projects across a designated region. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring adherence to design standards, budget, and schedule, and acting as a key technical liaison within the Company Job Responsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of hotel construction, renovation, and maintenance projects within the assigned region, from conceptualization to completion. Develop and implement project plans, including scope definition, budget allocation, resource management, and timeline development. Supervise and mentor project managers, architects, engineers, and other project team members. Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, company standards, and brand guidelines. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to specifications. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track. Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, consultants, and regulatory bodies. Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, purchasing) to ensure seamless project integration. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and best practices within the company. Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leaders and managers at regional level, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with overall business objectives. Partner with the various regional managers to understand their needs and develop HR programmes and initiatives that support business goals and objectives. Conduct regular HR audits and assessments to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and make recommendations for improvement as needed. Collaborate with the various HRBPs in HR to share best practices and coordinate global HR initiatives. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and programmes. Keep abreast of best practices and emerging trends in HR and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborate with HQ HR functional teams (compensation and benefits, labour relations, payroll, recruiting, etc.) to ensure the delivery of integrated HR services to the business.
