Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 20 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. We are currently looking for an Health & Safety Intern to join our Madrid team. What you will help with: Coordination of employee medical check-ups. Supporting EPIs delivery tracking Assisting with the review and distribution of annual H&S documentation and training records. Providing new employees with information on job-specific occupational risks and emergency procedures. Help manage CAE documentation and coordination with external companies working at the offices. Supporting the CAE platform management for Construction and O&M projects. Conducting basic workplace safety checks using predefined checklists. Assisting with corporate Incident Investigation reporting. Assisting in the follow-up of incidents reported by contractors. Updating internal Health & Safety records and documentation. Participate in internal/external audits and preventive planning activities, in line with ISO standards. Helping coordinate Health & Safety tasks across the company’s international offices. Helping prepare and share the HSE internal newsletter. Requirements: Recently to have completed a Masters degree in Occupational Health and Safety (PRL), and a related field such as a Masters Degree in Integrated Management Systems is a plus. Advanced Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail. Willing to learn and support in a dynamic and fast-growing industry. Understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be able to sign an internship agreement with their university/school.
