Role Description The Mechanic will assist the maintenance and operations teams in ensuring all mechanical systems and drilling equipment are operating safely and efficiently. This role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical troubleshooting, equipment inspection, and field maintenance activities within a geothermal drilling project. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of drilling and support equipment., • Support troubleshooting of mechanical systems to minimize downtime., • Perform regular checks and record equipment performance data., • Help prepare maintenance logs, reports, and spare parts documentation., • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards., • Coordinate with the engineering and operations teams for equipment mobilization and setup., • Participate in continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives. Qualifications • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field., • Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of work experience., • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, or industrial equipment., • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in workshop and field environments., • Ability to learn quickly and follow safety procedures., • Fluent in English (spoken & written)., • Must be a permanent resident of the Canary Islands (Tenerife)., • Must be legally eligible to work in Spain.
