The role of the Retail Planning & Performance Senior Analyst is to support the Manager to deliver reliable business insights by providing the Leadership team with recurring and ad-hoc data analysis and reports. This candidate should be familiar with Retail sales organization, initiatives and data, to be able to both report performance in a structured manner as well as develop analytical models to facilitate decision making. To do so, the P&P Senior Analyst will work hand in hand with different stakeholders (both within the P&P team as well as outside) to ensure general delivery. Main responsibilities • Act as a sparring partner for the Retail P&P Manager and Retail Senior Management, • Establish and own accurate and robust reporting processes to track performance from a Retail perspective and throughout the different management levels, • Lead specific projects or initiatives that impact directly the Retail sales teams, by supporting or taking ownership of the full project life cycle from conceptual work to implementation and tracking, • Lead or participate in the creation of compelling presentations to communicate progress, enhance discussions and facilitate decision-making process; make recommendations in the appropriate forums, • Work together with regional Retail sales teams to analyze and understand performance related to the different initiatives, and participate in the development related action plans moving forward, • Conduct detailed analysis when needed, often involving large amounts of data and/or feedback from regional teams, • Assist or develop analytical models to assist the strategic and tactical decision-making processes related to Retail incentives, sizing, organization, etc., • Establish trust and collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, develop a strong network of contacts throughout the business and gain the support of key players, • Leverage technology (Tableau, Salesforce) to drive automation and consistency when it comes to data related to specific initiatives he is managing Key interactions • Rest of Planning & Performance team, • Retail Team, • Other teams within Commercial Enablement Hub (Distribution, Commercial Development), • Sales Center of Excellence, • Data Analytics team (BI), • Other teams such as HR or Product Candidate profile • Excellent analytical and numerical skills; able to interpret, summarize and present complex data sets from multiple sources clearly and succinctly; strong attention to detail, • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written); able to interpret, summarize and present data and progress clearly and succinctly; able to influence business partner’s decisions, • Methodical and organized mindset, • Results-oriented, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality and proactive attitude, able to take initiative to propose and lead individual pieces of work or solve problems with minimal supervision, • Strong drive, capacity to push and make things happen while engaging with relevant key stakeholders, • Team spirit and attitude, comfortable working in multiple initiatives simultaneously, • Ability to build strong working relationships, create networks and influence; proactive in engaging with the business, • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills, • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, • SQL skills are highly valued (not required), • Experience with data analysis and modelling software (Tableau) is valued (not required), • Experience in the accommodation intermediation business is valued (not required)
