The company: Our customer is a technology-based startup with solid funding that is in the midst of expansion. They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee, based in Madrid, but providing services to their global organization. Description of the position: We’re looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect for its global operations in Madrid. He/She will design and implement technical reference architectures, supporting and guiding the technical teams in charge of product definition and deployment. Key Responsibilities and tasks: • Design reference architectures for Cloud Services capabilities and for business requirements., • Guide Cloud Engineering Team in foundations implementation and automation tasks., • Build and maintain the adoption landing zone according with governance requirements., • Gather business requirements and design solutions for product teams aligned with cloud strategy., • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution design, development, and deployment lifecycle., • Walk with product teams in the whole product lifecycle and stages., • Review/oversee product solution designs., • Conduct WAF (Web Application Firewall) review., • Conduct Workshops., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams., • Ensure the proposed solutions are aligned with the organization's IT strategy, standards, and best practices., • Conduct proof-of-concepts, pilots, and prototypes to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solutions., • Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational manuals., • Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to the operations and development teams., • Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends, and share expertise with the team., • Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Working Experience & Tech Skills: • 5+ years of Experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure., • Extensive knowledge of Azure services, including computing, storage, networking, security, and data services., • Proficient in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure Azure-based solutions., • Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure DevOps, and other Azure management tools, as well as Terraform and Python., • Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns, the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework. Soft skills: • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams., • International work experience working with international teams. Education and Training: • Bachelor's Degree: In information technology, or a related field. Certifications: • Certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) are highly desirable. Languages: • Spanish: Very good Business Spanish required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level., • English: Very good Business English required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level. Job Conditions: Job location: Tres Cantos (Madrid). European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite. Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, as internal employee. Salary: Depending on qualification and experience. Work from home: Hybrid working model including the possibility of working from home (70%) but according to the specific needs that may arise from the perspective of project development, department, clients, and/or partners.
