Minimum C1 level (Advanced) We offer, at the moment, 8 hours a week which will likely become more in the future as we are a rapid-growing, newly open business.

Blue Door Academy is offering a full-time contract (34 hours, including 24 contact hours a week): Gross monthly salary for: €1460.00. The school also covers the costs of one of the following teaching qualifications: - Trinity College London’s Certificate for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (Trinity CertTESOL) (valued at €1,500) (Level 5 on OFQUAL’s Regulated Qualifications Framework) or - Trinity College London’s Certificate for Practising Teachers: Teaching YLs and VYLs (valued at €795)(Level 6 on OFQUAL’s Regulated Qualifications Framework) The School Established in 1999, Blue Door operates from two locations in Cordoba City: one in the heart of the city centre and the other in a prestigious local school. Qualifications We value the following: Technical Ability - Proficient English speaker - European passport-holder/eligibility to work in the EU - Teaching qualification (e.g. Trinity CertTESOL) - Relevant experience, especially experience with young learners and/or preparation for Cambridge exams - Working knowledge of Spanish Soft Skills - Empathetic to young learners and very young learners - Strong work ethic - Time management skills Conditions Contract: 34-hour contract, including 24 hours of classes (per week) Gross monthly salary: €1,460.00 - FREE Trinity-accredited, OFQUAL-regulated teacher training course. Choose from Trinity College London’s Certificate for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (Trinity CertTESOL) (valued at €1,500) (Level 5 on OFQUAL’s Regulated Qualifications Framework) or Trinity College London’s Certificate for Practising Teachers: Teaching YLs and VYLs (valued at €795)(Level 6 on OFQUAL’s Regulated Qualifications Framework) Salary & Benefits The gross salary is €1,460.00 per month AND the school will cover the cost of either Trinity College London’s Certificate for Teaching Speakers of Other Languages or Trinity College London’s Certificate for Practising Teachers: Teaching YLs and VYLS (sponsored by Blue Door and provided by Spainwise Teacher Training). The contract is from October 2024 to June 2025 (renewable), and teachers have two weeks’ paid holiday at Christmas, and a week’s paid holiday at Easter, as well as all local and national holidays.
