ppbJunior Test Engineer /b /ppWe are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Junior Test Engineer for our Complete Vehicle Durability team. The role involves supporting the design, execution, and analysis of durability testing for electrified and combustion powertrain vehicles. The engineer will collaborate with experienced teams to ensure vehicles meet stringent durability standards and customer expectations. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop, plan, and execute complete vehicle durability tests following established protocols and automotive industry standards. /liliConduct hands‑on testing in laboratory and field environments, ensuring accurate data collection and meticulous record-keeping. /liliAnalyze test data using appropriate tools and methodologies to identify trends, failures, and improvement opportunities. /liliPrepare detailed technical reports that summarize test results, findings, and recommendations. /liliCollaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and support vehicle development initiatives. /liliSupport durability validation of electrified vehicle architectures, including battery‑integrated structures, lightweight and multi‑material body designs, and new mass distributions and load paths. /liliContribute to the evaluation of durability performance influenced by electric powertrain and thermal management systems. /liliAssist in testing and analysis involving vehicle management systems, interpreting vehicle signals (e.g., CAN data) and understanding interactions between control systems and mechanical durability performance. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. /liliExperience with test planning, execution, and data collection in technical environments. /liliProficiency in data analysis and technical report writing. /liliOrganized approach to managing multiple testing activities and documentation. /liliAbility to work effectively in team‑oriented environments and communicate findings clearly. /liliFamiliarity with automotive testing standards and regulations. /li /ulh3Preferred Skills and Experience /h3ulliDemonstrated knowledge of vehicle durability testing principles and methodologies. /liliPrior experience in the automotive industry or vehicle testing operations. /liliBasic understanding of electric vehicle architectures and high‑voltage systems. /liliFamiliarity with vehicle communication networks (e.g., CAN) and vehicle management systems. /liliProficiency with statistical analysis tools and software for data interpretation. /liliExperience operating laboratory or field testing equipment. /liliKnowledge of automotive quality assurance processes. /liliProject coordination or technical support experience. /liliFamiliarity with automotive design and engineering principles, including lightweight and multi‑material structures. /liliFluent in English and other languages; knowledge of Chinese is valuable. /li /ulh3EEO Statement /h3pApplus IDIADA is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
