Under the guidance of the Director of People & Culture, the Training & Development Manager directs the training and development strategy of the hotel while supporting the People & Culture day-to-day tasks. The Training & Development Manager assures the hotel culture is true to the SLS brand by fostering a team culture in which its members feel empowered to make decisions and take responsibility for their workload and professional development. Job Description What you'll do Develop a strategic training plan that aligns with business goals and addresses skill gaps. Design and deliver impactful training programs to achieve organizational goals. Deliver an effective onboarding program to support the retention of new talent and encourage a smooth transition into the business. Conduct training needs analysis and develop the employee development plan. Set up on-the-job training system, handle placement and scheduling of trainees, monitor and supervise their performance. Manage the training budget effectively, ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of programs. SUBDIRECTOR DE RESTAURANTE Es responsable de la operativa y el servicio. Reportará al Director General y gestionará un equipo humano de 50 personas. Se responsabilizará de la gestión integral y optimización de ventas, se asegurará que el servicio fluye, que barra, sala y cocina trabajan en armonía y al unísono. Se asegura de que se mantienen los niveles de calidad independientemente del flujo de trabajo, turno o temporada. Se asegura que el staff de cada departamento sigue los procedimientos creados, se presenta a su puesto de trabajo en óptimas condiciones, que el servicio y la atmósfera muestran la identidad de Makamaka. Reportando al Director General y trabajando conjuntamente, dirigen al equipo de Managers, crean manuales de procedimientos para cada departamento, desarrollan un calendario de contratación y de formación de staff para asegurarse que el servicio está cubierto y el personal recibe la formación necesaria para llevarlo a cabo correctamente. Controla de calidad de toda la operativa, y se responsabiliza de que se mantienen los estándares de calidad en todo momento. Para ello contará con un equipo de 4 managers y un equipo humano de 50 personas que se encargarán de hacer la experiencia Makamaka única. Requisitos mínimos Experiencia de más de 3 años en centros con gran volumen de trabajo y con equipos de más de 40 personas. Trayectoria profesional desarrollada en el ámbito de la restauración. Formación específica en Hostelería y Turismo es un plus. Nivel de inglés avanzado. Valorable experiencia previa como trainer.
