This is a critical greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution. This position is designed for an energetic, floor‑oriented Last‑Mile Operations Manager. The role demands an execution‑focused leader who can run a high‑volume delivery depot hands‑on, manage dynamic driver waves, and hit strict daily delivery windows under intense time pressure. • Launch, stabilize, and run daily operations at a dedicated last‑mile delivery station, ensuring a flawless cross‑docking sorting process and maximum delivery success rates for the assigned zone., • Take full operational and administrative ownership of the physical delivery depot—overseeing inbound sorting, parcel routing, driver dispatch waves, vehicle safety compliance, and the direct management of shift supervisors and local delivery couriers. To provide a clear understanding of the accountability required, the successful candidate will be evaluated on the following key metrics during the initial 6 to 12 months: • Depot Commissioning & Go‑Live: Turn the bare physical delivery facility into an active, organized sorting and dispatch cross‑dock, meeting launch deadlines with zero operational delays., • Last‑Mile Delivery Excellence (SLA): Maintain near‑perfect metrics for On‑Time Delivery (OTD), First‑Time Delivery Rate, and scan compliance, actively troubleshooting route disruptions., • Driver Wave & Sort Optimization: Structure the early‑morning sorting lines and van loading waves efficiently, minimizing driver wait times at the bays and maximizing daily delivery capacity., • Compliance & Labor Governance: Ensure all station operations and driver scheduling comply 100% with Spanish road transport safety, warehouse risk prevention (PRL), and local labor standards., • Greenfield Launch Expertise: Proven background of successfully running, launching, or acting as a key supervisor within a high‑volume last‑mile delivery depot or express cross‑dock facility., • Hands‑On Floor Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a fast‑paced team of operators and delivery drivers under high‑pressure, time‑sensitive morning dispatch constraints., • Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to manage local courier operations and report operational performance data. Knowledge of Mandarin is a strong asset., • Operational Flexibility: High adaptability regarding non‑standard shift hours, specifically early morning sorting windows (e.g., 5:00 AM starts), required to stabilize a last‑mile delivery engine.
