Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer, the Fleet Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the aircraft fleet. This role focuses on optimizing asset performance, managing key stakeholder relationships, and supporting procurement and bid processes. It plays a critical part in ensuring fleet standardization, utilization, and commercial efficiency across the organization. The selected person may be based at any of our offices located in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Sweden, or Norway. Main responsibilities: Maintaining effective communications and delivery of effective relationship management with external stakeholders, primarily OEMS and Lessors. Delivering leadership with asset types within the portfolio, across multiple internal stakeholders remaining closely aligned to regional CAMO teams and Fleet Managers. Supporting bid solutions through the identification of configuration requirements and asset availability, seeking priced solutions from key partners. Providing support to the Group Supply Chain Director with the development of external requirements, configurations and RFP management. Maintaining effective fleet plans with support of the Fleet Planning and Utilisation Manager, to one consistent standard. Using these to support CAPEX/investment requirements and asset utilization and optimisation as well as maintain up to date records along side MSN/tail registrations. Analyzing the spend profile and defining in conjunction with key business owners, appropriate through life cost of ownership strategies to achieve the business needs. Establishing and maintaining up to date Account Management plans to support effective strategic support where and when required. Ensuring Service Level Agreements are in place working with Group Supply Chain and CAMO/ Part 145; are competed where value can be achieved, are valid and adequately reflect the level of performance both required and delivered. Driving commercial performance through effective KPI contract management. Improving fleet standardisation to maximise redeployment utilisation opportunities and residual values. Required qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Aeronautics is preferred. Alternatively, substantial hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, operations, or fleet management—combined with relevant technical training— will also be positively considered . Required experience: Proven track record of experience in Aviation Sector, managing large fleets in complex organisations. Experience in applying financial, commercial and analytical skills in broad business projects. Core capabilities: A strong drive for results and action.
