We are looking for a passionate and skilled PostgreSQL/AlloyDB Database Expert to join our dynamic DevOps team. You will play a key role in delivering Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) solutions for the Magenta TV platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems. Tech Stack & Tools: • Databases: PostgreSQL, AlloyDB, • Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (IAM, DMS, VPC, Monitoring & Logging), • Infrastructure: Terraform (IaC), Kubernetes, • Operation, monitoring and optimisation of PostgreSQL and AlloyDB databases, • Setting up, maintaining and further developing backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies, • Performance analysis, tuning and capacity planning, • Automation of recurring operational and administrative tasks (e.g. monitoring, provisioning, patching), • Ensuring data integrity, security and availability, • Supporting development projects in database design, query optimisation and deployment processes, • Incident, problem and change management within the ITIL process, • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals, • Participation in on-call duty in 24/7 operation one week each one month and a half Qualifications Skill requirements: • Proven experience with PostgreSQL and AlloyDB in production environments., • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud tools and services., • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud monitoring/logging., • Fluent English (minimum B1 level)., • Experience working in agile and DevOps teams., • Monitoring:, • Prometheus good knowledge., • Google monitoring tools, Grafana, will appreciate., • Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
