We are seeking a System Validation and Verification Engineer to join our growing team. You will be part of the test team responsible for validation and verification activities. During this phase, all interfaces and features of advanced safety and mission-critical computing products are tested to ensure performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. These products are complex high-performance computers with multiple processors, real-time operating systems, and Linux. Interfaces include video, data buses, GPIO, and analog signals. You will define test strategies, write test cases, develop test scripts and tools, and perform formal test runs. The role also includes preparing documentation such as test reports and recording issues from test execution results. This position requires close collaboration with engineers from software, firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams, as well as colleagues in global environment. The role is based in Madrid with a hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities • Define and verify test environments, including tools, benches, and cable specifications, • Write test cases to cover product specifications, • Develop test scripts to automate product testing, • Execute test campaigns and prepare official reports Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar, • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience as a test engineer and experience in systems test development, • Background in avionics preferred, but experience in other high safety-critical industries (rail, automotive, medical devices, etc.) also considered, • Strong programming knowledge in C, Python, or LUA, • Experience with real-time operating systems; Linux is desirable, • Familiarity with testing interfaces such as: Data buses: GETH, RS, CAN ; Video: SDI, HDMI; High-speed: PCIe, SATA; Avionics (a plus): ARINC429, MIL-1553, • Preferred with hands-on experience with test equipment and debugging tools (scopes, analyzers, programming environments, JTAG probes, multi-meters), • Preferred with knowledge of environmental testing standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704) is a plus, • Autonomous, proactive, and collaborative profile Details • Full-time position, • Start date: ASAP You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with a highly skilled and motivated team.
