Corporate Engagement & Alumni Relations Coordinator (PhD in Business Required) – Madrid 📍 Madrid, Spain 🏫 GBSB Global Business School 🕒 Full-Time | On-Campus GBSB Global Business School is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven professional to join our Careers, Alumni, and Entrepreneurship Center (CAEC) in Madrid. This is a dual-role position combining Corporate Engagement and Alumni Relations, with an additional opportunity to contribute as a Lecturer within the institution. We are specifically seeking candidates holding a PhD in Business or a closely related field, who are eager to combine academic contribution with strategic industry and alumni engagement. About the Role: This position supports two complementary functions within CAEC: • Corporate engagement initiatives aligned with employability and industry collaboration, • Alumni relations strategy and global alumni community development In addition, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to teach in business-related subjects, contributing to the academic excellence of GBSB Global. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Engagement • Identify and develop relationships with corporate partners and industry stakeholders, • Support employer engagement initiatives, career events, mentoring programs, and networking sessions, • Gather employer insights and market trends to enhance student employability, • Collaborate with Careers team to align engagement strategies with institutional goals Alumni Relations • Build and maintain long-term relationships with alumni globally, • Manage alumni communications across LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, social media, and other channels, • Plan and deliver alumni events, reunions, networking sessions, and speaker programs, • Develop lifelong learning initiatives (webinars, workshops, professional development sessions), • Establish and coordinate global alumni chapters, • Encourage alumni participation as ambassadors and guest contributors Alumni Data & Reporting • Maintain accurate alumni database and CRM records, • Conduct employment and engagement surveys, • Contribute to Annual Employment Report and alumni career outcome reporting Academic Contribution (Lecturer Opportunity) • Deliver lectures in business-related subjects, • Contribute to curriculum development and academic excellence, • Engage with students in an international learning environment Requirements • PhD in Business or a closely related discipline (mandatory), • Experience in alumni relations, career services, corporate engagement, or higher education, • Fluency in English (C1) and Spanish (C1), • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, • Experience with CRM systems and data reporting, • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail Disclaimer: GBSB Global promotes diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity in employment.
