We are looking for qualified professionals with a degree in Early Childhood Education (teacher or childcare educator qualification). The position is to be the second classroom reference teacher in English, while the other teacher in the classroom is the reference in Catalan and Spanish. We work with children between 4 months and 3 years old, divided into different age classrooms. The role includes attending to their daily needs such as feeding, hygiene, emotional care, and supporting their development through activities, routines, and play. For us, it is not only important to have a high level of English. We also highly value real experience working with babies and toddlers in early childhood settings. The position requires professionals who are comfortable with all aspects of nursery school life, including: changing diapers, giving bottles and helping with meals, supporting sleep routines, observing children’s emotional and developmental needs, detecting possible developmental or emotional concerns, preparing educational activities and classroom programming, writing evaluation reports, communicating daily with families, organizing school events and celebrations such as graduations and performances, and working closely as part of an educational team. Many of the applications we are currently receiving have excellent English levels, but little or no experience with children aged 0–3 years old, and this experience is essential for our school environment.
