We are engineering a better tomorrow. Lockheed Martin España is seeking a hardware or systems engineer to lead technical oversight of Spanish content for a new radar signal processor. Your responsibilities will include: • Provide technical oversight for supplier design efforts and integration of tactical equipment into the higher-level radar signal processor, • Perform requirement decomposition to develop product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for radar system suppliers, • Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews of supplier designs, • Support technical suppliers, conduct supplier visits, and validate supplier technical products, • Function as an interface between program and radar system leadership, and supplier development efforts, • Establish verification plans and test procedures showing traceability to system and subsystems specifications, • Provide oversight of component verification and qualification test activities, developing final verification artifacts, • Support subsystem integration and test, driving any Spanish supplier issues to resolution, • Identify opportunities and support production activities within Spain. Required skills, qualifications and experience: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree, • Functional knowledge of radar systems, • Experience with hardware development at the component, subsystem, or system level, • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: system analysis, requirements development, hardware design, verification/qualification, or integration and test, • Past strong technical performance as an individual contributor, and ability to perform in a small team environment, • Advanced degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent, • Strong technical background with experience in hardware development, test, and integration, • Experience with requirement definition, documentation and verification, • Experience with design validation and/or qualification testing, • Familiarity/proficiency in supply chain management and subcontracts, • Experience writing test procedures, reports, and delivering test results to the customer in a professional manner, • Excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with members of the engineering/management staff and customer community.
