As an Expert Space Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of satellite platforms, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across all subsystems. You will define and manage system requirements, optimize technical budgets, analyze and validate spacecraft architectures, and support integration and testing activities. Working directly with the Project Office (PMO), you will ensure seamless execution of engineering tasks while driving innovation. Your contributions will include: • Developing and optimizing technical budgets., • Defining and managing satellite system requirements., • Assessing test approaches and methodologies., • Conducting detailed analyses and simulations., • Supporting low-level system integration and testing., • Collaborating directly with the Project Office (PMO). What We're Looking For Technical Skills: • Expertise in spacecraft systems engineering and subsystems integration., • Strong knowledge of MBSE methodologies., • Familiarity with mechanical, thermal, radiation, and propulsion systems., • Experience with space-related analysis and design tools such as CATIA, NASTRAN/PATRAN, ESATAN, FASTRAD., • Hands-on approach to cross-functional technical issues., • Understanding of New Space trends and techniques., • Expertise in low-level system integration and testing techniques., • Strong experience in technical documentation and project reporting using ECSS methodologies., • Ability to analyze and verify system configurations under operational constraints., • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, high-priority environments. Additional valued skills: • Knowledge of Capella MBSE Tool or Valispace., • Experience with Python or other scripting languages. Educational Background: • Preferred degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field. Professional Experience: • 10+ years in the aerospace industry. Language Skills: • English (minimum B2 level). As part of the PA/QA Support Division, you’ll work at the intersection of engineering and quality assurance to maintain the highest standards in our development processes. You'll collaborate closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and corporate functions to align project quality with customer needs and Deimos' corporate procedures. Your Contributions Will Include: • Designing and managing project-specific PA/QA programs to ensure compliance with quality objectives., • Preparing and monitoring Product Assurance Plans (PAP) across the project lifecycle., • Supporting Project Managers with tailored CMS (Corporate Management System) preparation and implementation., • Ensuring end-to-end traceability in project documentation and verifying configuration baselines., • Collaborating with subcontractors to uphold PA requirements and deliver exceptional products., • Contributing to risk management and attending critical project boards (e.g., Milestone Reviews, Non-Conformance)., • Conducting project quality audits and supporting external audits., • Interfacing with Verification and Validation teams to meet stringent quality objectives., • Providing PA expertise in commercial proposals and future opportunities. What We're Looking For: Education: • A recognized university degree in an engineering, technical, or scientific discipline. Professional Experience: • A minimum of five years in PA/QA and software engineering roles. Technical Expertise: • Comprehensive knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001 & CMMI, with experience in aerospace QMS standards (e.g., GSWS, ECSS)., • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Redmine, Rational DOORS, SVN, and GIT., • Proficiency in technical documentation creation and review processes. Language Skills: • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
