At ManpowerGroup, we are looking for an Environmental & Biodiversity Specialist to join one of our clients in the renewable energy sector, an international company focused on the growth and development of sustainable projects. This is a strategic position within the HSSE area, focused on ensuring environmental compliance and proper risk management in renewable energy projects across Spain and Europe. 🔍 About the Role We are looking for a professional with experience in environmental management for renewable energy projects, especially photovoltaic and battery energy storage projects. The selected person will participate in the environmental assessment, coordination, and monitoring of projects during different development phases, working closely with internal teams, authorities, and external consultants. 🌍 What we offer • Permanent contract through Manpower for a stable project within an international renewable energy company., • Opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative, and sustainability-focused environment., • Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote., • Flexible working hours., • Professional growth and development opportunities within the company. 📌 Main Responsibilities • Assess environmental risks and permitting processes for renewable energy projects., • Review technical and environmental documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations., • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure environmental compliance throughout the projects., • Manage the submission of environmental documentation to authorities and public bodies., • Coordinate and supervise environmental consultants and EPC contractors regarding mandatory environmental requirements., • Maintain communication with regional and local authorities when needed., • Review contracts and technical scopes to ensure the implementation and maintenance of environmental measures., • Ensure compliance with national, regional, and European environmental regulations related to renewable energy projects. ⭐ What we are looking for • University degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or related fields., • Previous experience of 3 to 5 years in renewable energy projects., • Knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to renewable projects in Spain., • Experience with agricultural, social, or hydrological regulations will be valued., • Knowledge of IUCN frameworks and European Directives related to Environment and Renewable Energy., • Fluent level of Spanish and English., • Availability for occasional travel.
