We are currently looking for an experienced Head Sommelier to join COYA Ibiza pre-openinng team. Experience you will need: • Certified sommelier or successfully completed equivalent of WSET, Level 3 would be preferable, • Solid knowledge of French and New World wines (South American and North American wines in particular would be advantageous), • Attention to detail with good customer service, • A team player, pro-active with a can-do attitude, • Ability to work under pressure, • Good command and understanding of English and Spanish with the ability to communicate confidently, • Committed to personal development and a passion for working with people, • Compose wine list to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, profit, prestige and trade recognition in line with the current trends, • Creating, maintaining and developing wine stocks, wine sales and wine lists according to the company direction, • ·Strive to meet target cost of sales and ensure that all employees are aware of the targets in the wine department, including the monthly sales target., • Review and analyse sales to ensure stock rotation and profitability remains within targets.
