Opportunity As the Sourcing Lead in Sant Cugat, Spain, you will drive operations for our Active Diagnostic Ingredients (ADI), Reagents, and Instruments portfolios. Balancing strategic alignment with tactical excellence, you will lead a highly capable team, drive digital procurement transformation, and collaborate directly with executive leadership to shape the future of our supply network. Reporting Line: The position directly reports to the Head of Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE). Wider team and stakeholders: You are accountable for leading, coaching, and developing a local team of up to 16 Sourcing Managers and one Business Capability Lead. In addition, you will be part of the CoE Leadership Team (LT) and manage critical relationships with executive leadership, including the Direct Procurement LT. Role Type: A leadership position combining an even balance of strategic category alignment and tactical sourcing execution. Responsibilities Your impact is defined by driving measurable financial value, robust governance, and process optimization across the ADI, Reagents and Instruments Networks globally. • Performance & Savings: Driving key metrics (PPV, preferred supplier share, cycle times) while managing your team’s OPEX budget., • Sourcing & Contracts: Executing compliant global sourcing, market research, and NPI benchmarking. Overseeing a critical portfolio of low‑to‑high complexity contracts (e.g., CDAs, SOWs or MSAs)., • Digital Leadership: Governing and improving Roche’s iCollab platform to advance supplier integration alongside Planning, Global Supply Chain and the Roche Shared Services (RSS)., • SLA Governance: Defining KPIs to guarantee on‑time and in‑full (OTIF) service delivery across your assigned portfolio., • Conflict & Exposure: Resolving high‑stakes matrix priority conflicts, representing Roche to external providers, and delivering high‑frequency monthly/quarterly updates to executive leadership (CoE, Category, Delivery and DPLT)., • Process & Technology: Together with our Digital & Process experts, fostering and role‑modeling the development, deployment, and usage of novel AI/Digital solutions and continuously identifying and implementing process improvements.Qualifications, • Education: A university degree in Business or Life Sciences is required; a Master’s (MBA) and CIPS certification are highly preferred., • Experience: 7 to 10 years in Direct Procurement (Medtech, Automotive, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals or Chemicals) with 3 to 5 years specifically in a Shared Service or CoE environment., • Market Expertise: Deep sourcing knowledge and portfolio management experience, preferably in Active Diagnostic Ingredients (ADI), Reagents and Instruments., • AI & Digitalization: Strong affinity for AI‑driven solutions broadly, especially regarding digital transformation of operations (Digital2.0 / Industry4.0)., • Systems & Analytics: Deep understanding of Demand‑to‑Pay processes, ERP systems (specifically SAP) and BI tools like Tableau., • Mindset & Soft Skills: Process‑first thinker, Lean and/or Six Sigma mindset, proven track record in change management and managing critical executive relationships., • Mentorship & Global Leadership: Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing large, high‑performing, and diverse cross‑cultural teams in a global or matrix environment., • Languages: Business‑level fluency in English required; Spanish and German are strong assets. xcskxlj Equal Opportunity Roche is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
