THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO KUWAIT As part of this continued expansion, we are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Buying and Merchandising Director to lead the strategic buying and merchandise planning function across the business. The Opportunity Reporting to senior leadership, this position will take ownership of developing and executing the overall buying and planning strategy, ensuring a commercially balanced product offer that drives sales, profitability and brand growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping seasonal collections, managing inventory performance and influencing the future direction of the business. Key Responsibilities - Lead the Buying & Planning function across multiple fashion categories. - Develop and deliver seasonal buying strategies aligned with commercial objectives. - Build and manage merchandise financial plans, forecasting demand and optimising stock levels. - Analyse sales performance, market trends and customer behaviour to drive trading decisions. - Work closely with design, sourcing and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and availability. - Manage supplier and brand partner relationships, including negotiation and range development. - Lead, coach and develop a high-performing buying and merchandising team. - Support the continued evolution of systems, processes and reporting to enhance commercial performance.
