The Assistant Facilities Manager it is a technical, consultative position, supporting decision-making across installations, lifecycle planning, compliance, and capital projects. The role is ideal for someone with a solid technical background (e.g. engineering or mechanical systems) who enjoys problem-solving, translating technical detail into practical guidance, and influencing outcomes across a diverse portfolio. Responsibilities: Technical & Compliance Support: Provide technical advice on building systems, refurbishments, and safety compliance to ensure assets operate efficiently and meet regulatory standards. Asset Lifecycle & Maintenance Planning: Support lifecycle planning, CapEx programmes, and maintenance strategies using asset condition data to inform investment decisions. Stakeholder, Commercial & Sustainability Coordination: Act as a technical link between teams and suppliers, supporting cost-effective solutions, sustainability initiatives, and portfolio-wide technical standards. Qualifications: • 3 years’ experience in a technical facilities, engineering, or building services role, ideally within real estate, living, or hospitality environments., • Technical background in engineering, mechanical systems, building services, or constructionrelated disciplines., • Strong understanding of building regulations, facilities installations, and maintenance principles The job position is based in Madrid.
