Creaplan Iberia Aside from their HQ in Nazareth (BE), Creaplan has hubs in Amersfoort (NL), London (UK) and Barcelona (ES) - Creaplan Iberia. Spain is clearly emerging as a magnet for the trade fair sector, thanks in part to the popularity of the modern flagship venue Fira de Barcelona, which brings highly regarded international B2B trade fairs to Spain. Creaplan Iberia had a revenue of €3M in year one, with a projected revenue of €5-6M this year. As a fast growing company, the goal is to reach €10M revenue in the coming years. Creaplan Iberia is ready for the next phase in its growth under dedicated leadership, within a strong group. Purpose of the function The Managing Director Iberia will lead Creaplan Iberia and will have the full P&L responsibility over Creaplan's hub in Barcelona, which today has a turnover of 5-6M euro and 15 employees + 25 freelancers. They will be responsible for strengthening Creaplan Iberia's commercial position within a competitive market, with support and means from Creaplan Group. The commercial goal is revenue growth up to 10M euro within 3-5 years. The role combines general management with commercial and operational leadership. The main mission of the Managing Director Iberia will be to make Creaplan Iberia commercially stronger, lead and expand the team, and drive further expansion. Specific responsibilities General/P&L Management • Hold full P&L responsibility for the Iberian branch of Creaplan, in alignment with the Group objectives., • Serve as the local representative of the Creaplan Group, leveraging the local potential within the larger network., • The MD will rebuild the commercial strategy, aiming for further growth, as well as expand the local team and take on any operational challenges. Commercial Focus • Increase Creaplan Iberia's revenue from the current level (€3M) to the target level (€10M) in 3 to 5 years time., • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts., • Bring more “hunting spirit” and commercial initiatives into the team and drive business development towards new segments and customers to strengthen Creaplan Iberia's market share. Leadership and Team Development • Lead the team, and expand in the context of future growth., • Focus on people development, strengthening internal collaboration, and enhancing team capacity., • Act decisively and solution-oriented to address internal challenges and optimize structures and processes. Operational oversight • Navigate and manage the tension between project management and sales, ensuring operational efficiency supports a commercially driven organization., • Build and maintain a growth strategy while driving operational improvements, including operational efficiency and business model innovation., • Take charge over the various processes and ensure quality, safety and structure. Profile • Background in the stand-building business or related sectors, • Experience in managing a full P&L responsibility as a Managing Director/General Manager is a clear plus, • Experience in developing a commercial strategy and implementing a strategic plan to facilitate growth in a competitive market. Has a commercial background with a proven track record in winning and delivering projects, • Capable of strengthening internal teams and helping them grow, both in efficiency and in size, • Capability in upscaling business, implementing structures and processes to make sure the operational flow can keep up with the commercial growth, • Fluent in Spanish and English
