Profesor/a de Inglés Nativo - Ms&Mr Language - Vilafranca del Penedès

Position Details:
Challenge - Ms&MrLanguage, located in the heart of Vilafranca del Penedès, is well-known for its commitment to providing high-quality English language education. Our primary focus is on developing the oral communication skills of our young learners and teens, while we also offer Cambridge English Exam preparation. Our interactive and immersive approach is designed to build confidence in students' speaking abilities, using creative and engaging methods tailored to their needs.
This position is ideal for teachers who are passionate about teaching children and feel most comfortable working with young learners rather than primarily teaching adults or exam preparation courses.
We are looking for someone who is eager for a long-term, stable position and wants to be part of a committed and established team.
Position Highlights:

• Full-time and permanent seasonal contract (contrato fijo discontinuo) available starting September 18th
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, mainly midday and afternoons, possibly also evenings.
• Must genuinely enjoy teaching young learners (ages 6-11), as this will make up most of the timetable.
• Skilled in working with groups of different levels, creating a dynamic and nurturing environment where students can develop their language skills.
• Teaching responsibilities

* Most classes are with children aged 6-11, focusing on speaking, games, projects and communicative learning.
* Some classes may involve teenagers preparing for Cambridge English Qualifications.

• Preparation of original materials such as board games, interactive activities and projects to engage students in effective learning experiences.
• Uniform provided by the academy; wearing it is compulsory to ensure a consistent and professional image.
• Possibility of helping with relocation: room for about 450, apartment for about 700 (not ours, we may provide assitance)

Key Dates:
Academic year is September to June (Mondays to Fridays), July optional (Mondays to Thursdays), incorporation back in September.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience teaching English, preferably with young learners (ages 6-11).
Experience in creating interactive and original teaching materials.
Skills: creativity, effective communication, knowledge of child development, ability to motivate, organization, conflict resolution, tech-savvy.
Confident using technology (Google for Education, Canva, etc.). Experience preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications is a plus, but not essential.
Native or near-native level of English (C1-C2).

Qualifications
Cambridge CELTA

• English teaching certification i.e. TEFL, CELTA, TESOL.
• Demonstrable experience teaching children aged 6-11 in groups.
• B1 level of Spanish. (preferred)
• Right to work in Spain (up-to-date NIE/TIE) MUST. We DO NOT provide sponsorship
• Native-level competence and pronunciation in English (C1-C2)
• A clear criminal record check and sexual offences' clearance certificates.
• PREFERRED: Only candidates willing to live locally, in Vilafranca del Penedès or nearby towns if you have a vehicle, as public transport is highly unreliable nowadays.
• Help with relocation: room for about 450, appartment for about 700 (not ours, we may provide assitance)
