GENERAL DESCRIPTION Reporting to the CMMS Project Lead, CMMS Acceptance Engineer be responsible for leading the functional development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) used in Offshore Wind operations. This role acts as the business owner of CMMS development activities performed by external CMMS provider, ensuring that the system evolves in alignment with operational needs, regulatory requirements, asset management strategy, and digitalization objectives. The position works closely with the external CMMS provider and internal stakeholders (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Asset Management, Procurement, and IT) to define requirements, validate developments, and ensure successful implementation. Key Functions and Responsibilities CMMS Functional Ownership & Governance Act as the functional owner of CMMS development initiatives. Define, document, and prioritize business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities. Translate operational needs into detailed functional specifications. Review and validate technical proposals from the CMMS vendor. Approve system configurations and developments before deployment. Ensure alignment between CMMS evolution and O&M strategy. 2. Development Oversight Act as the main interface between OW and the CMMS software provider to validate technical releases. Supervise development roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables. Validate that developments meet agreed requirements and quality standards. Coordinate testing phases (UAT – User Acceptance Testing)., 3. Business Process Integration Continuously analyse O&M processes (preventive, corrective, predictive maintenance, logistics, spare parts, offshore campaigns, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure CMMS workflows reflect real operational practices and regulatory requirements., 4. Continuous Improvement & System Evolution Promote automation and integration with related systems (SCADA, ERP, BI, etc.). Support digital transformation and cross-functional improvement initiatives. Ensure CMMS scalability for future offshore wind projects., 5. System Performance & Continuous Improvement Drive corrective actions to improve system reliability and user experience., 6. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement Engage operational stakeholders to capture feedback and improvement needs. Support communication of system updates and new functionalities. Ensure that developments are aligned with training materials and operational rollout plans. Academic background and Professional Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar), Information Systems, or related field. Experience Minimum 5–8 years of experience in: Maintenance management systems (CMMS/EAM), preferably in industrial, energy, or offshore environments. Offshore wind, renewable energy, utilities, heavy industry, or asset-intensive sectors. Proven experience working with external software vendors. Experience translating business requirements into system specifications. Experience in testing, validation, and system rollout projects. Knowledge of maintenance strategies (preventive, corrective, condition-based maintenance). Technical Competencies Strong understanding of CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, IFS, or similar). Knowledge of asset hierarchy structuring and master data governance. Familiarity with system integrations (ERP, SCADA, BI tools). Understanding of maintenance KPIs and performance metrics. Basic understanding of offshore wind operations is highly desirable. Soft Skills Strong analytical and structured thinking. Ability to bridge operational and technical teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Vendor management capability. Results-oriented with strong attention to detail. Languages The company has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written.
