ph3Job Title /h3 pTHE SHIPYARD OF THE FUTURE. /p h3Contract Details /h3 pType: Temporary Job Status Full-time /p pHours Per Week: 35 /p pOffer Starting Date: 1 Aug /p pGrant/funding reference: UDC NAVANTIA JOINT RESEARCH CENTRE (CODE IN853C*) /p pGrant/funding period: START: APRIL 01, END: SEPTEMBER 30, /p h3Location /h3 pCEMI UDC FACILITIES - NAVANTIA Batallones Building (Ferrol) /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liStudy and development of the robotization of panel threading operations in shipbuilding. /li liAnalyse the current process: study of the manual threading process, collection of shop‑floor data, analysis of cycle times, tolerances, variability, ergonomic risks, and operational requirements. /li liConceptual engineering: definition of functional requirements, identification of technical constraints, and evaluation of alternatives for automation, sensing, guidance, and robotic implementation. /li liMechanical design and simulation: 3D modeling of panels, tooling, and structures, combined with multiphysics simulation and Physics‑Informed Neural Network (PINN) models to validate and optimise the proposed solution. /li /ul h3Qualifications Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent. /li liBachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. /li liExperience in numerical simulation tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, or equivalent software in applied engineering projects. /li liExperience in the development and validation of multiphysics models for mechanical or industrial systems. /li liExperience in model calibration and tuning using experimental data. /li liKnowledge of simulation‑based optimisation techniques and parametric analysis. /li liFamiliarity with methods for developing hybrid models that combine physics‑based simulation and artificial intelligence techniques. /li liKnowledge of Physics‑Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) or equivalent methodologies. /li liExperience in the acquisition, processing, and analysis of data from sensors or industrial testing. /li liParticipation in automation, robotics, or industrial digitalisation projects. /li liKnowledge of metal manufacturing processes, shipbuilding, or similar industrial environments. /li liAbility to document technical results and present conclusions in a clear and structured manner. /li liProficiency in simulation software and machine learning tools. /li liNative or equivalent Spanish nationality or other rights for labour purposes in public administration. /li liReach age sixteen years and not exceed the maximum age of forced retirement. /li liFunctional capacity necessary to develop the corresponding functions or tasks described in the contract. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
