We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Part-Time Chef / Housekeeper to join our team. This is a varied role combining food preparation with housekeeping duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and wants to make a real difference to the lives of others. About the Role Working closely with our Head Chef/ chef and wider team, you'll help prepare healthy, home- cooked meals for our clients and staff while also maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our residential treatment centre. This isn't a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Instead, you'll be helping to create a warm, welcoming home environment where nutritious food and a clean, comfortable setting support our clients' wellbeing and recovery. Your Responsibilities You'll be involved in: Preparing healthy lunches and dinners for clients and staff. Assisting the Head Chef with food preparation and kitchen duties. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness. Cleaning client bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas. Laundry, linen changes and general housekeeping. Ensuring the property remains clean, welcoming and well presented. Supporting stock control and food deliveries. Working as part of a friendly multidisciplinary team. Helping create a positive and therapeutic environment for our clients. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, reliable and trustworthy. Passionate about cooking healthy, nutritious meals. Proud of maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Well organised with excellent attention to detail. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Compassionate and respectful towards people from all walks of life. Flexible and willing to support the needs of the service. Essential Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or cooking role. Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience. Good spoken English. Full driving licence. Legally entitled to work in Spain. Holds, or is willing to obtain before starting, a valid Spanish Food Handler Certificate (Carnet de Manipulador de Alimentos). Desirable Ability to communicate in Spanish. Experience within hospitality, healthcare or residential care. Knowledge of allergens and special dietary requirements.
