En Aventouralia buscamos un/a mecánico/a para el mantenimiento y reparación de nuestra flota de quads, buggies y otros vehículos, trabajando en un entorno dinámico y relacionado con el turismo y la aventura. Responsabilidades principales: Mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de quads, buggies y otros vehículos de la empresa. Diagnóstico y reparación de averías mecánicas, eléctricas y de transmisión. Revisión y puesta a punto de los vehículos antes y después de cada actividad. Control de piezas de repuesto, herramientas y material de taller. Cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad y protocolos de la empresa. Coordinación con el equipo de guías y administración para garantizar la disponibilidad de vehículos. Requisitos: Experiencia previa como mecánico/a de motocicletas, quads, buggies o vehículos similares. Conocimientos de mecánica general, electricidad y mantenimiento preventivo. Permiso de conducir tipo B (imprescindible); se valorará permiso A o A2. Capacidad de organización y trabajo en equipo. Persona proactiva, responsable y con atención al detalle. Se valorará experiencia en soldadura y trabajos de taller. Se valorarán conocimientos de inglés y/o francés para la comunicación con clientes y proveedores. A Tour Guide is responsible for leading guests on exciting off-road adventures on dirt trails through the Mijas mountains, ensuring their safety while providing commentary about the local landscape, wildlife, and natural features, all while creating a thrilling and memorable experience for each participant. A Tour Guide also ensures that vehicles are washed after each tour and that the shop, bathroom and staging areas are always kept clean and tidy. Key Responsibilities: · Conduct pre-tour safety briefings and enforce safety guidelines throughout the tour · Monitor driving behaviour and intervene if necessary to maintain safety standards. · Perform pre-trip inspections of dune buggies to ensure mechanical functionality · Respond appropriately to any emergencies that may arise during a tour Tour Navigation and Commentary · Clean throughout the day and keep shop, waiting area, staging areas and garage bays clean and tidy – · Perform other tasks as needed and as directed by management Required Skills and Qualifications: · Excellent off-road driving abilities, comfortable manoeuvring in challenging conditions · Strong ability to communicate clearly and engagingly with guests, providing informative commentary · Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and prioritizing customer satisfaction · Commitment to safety protocols and ability to make quick decisions in potentially dangerous situations Desired Qualifications: · Previous experience as a tour guide or in a similar outdoor adventure role · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · First Aid or CPR certification · Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance
A Buggy Mechanic / Tour Guide is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on our fleet of buggies. Responsibilities also include leading guests on exciting off-road adventures on dirt trails through the Mijas mountains, ensuring their safety while providing informative commentary about the local landscape, wildlife, and natural features, all while creating a thrilling and memorable experience for each participant. Required Skills and Qualifications: · • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks on the fleet of buggies - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques - Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems as needed - Perform inspections and safety checks to identify potential issues and ensure that all vehicles meet safety standards - Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper functionality - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities including parts inventory and service history Desired Qualifications: · Previous experience as a tour guide or in a similar outdoor adventure role · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · First Aid or CPR certification · Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance
