We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accountingteam based in our Barcelona hub. This role will support the day-to-day operations ofthe Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across alldepartmental processes. What You’ll Do • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution ofdiscrepancies, • Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accountingpolicies, • Assist with the month-end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuringaccuracy and timely reporting, • Reconcile intercompany transactions, • Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset postings and monthlydepreciation, • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable, Procurement and T&E teams onreconciliations and discrepancy resolution, • Assist in the preparation and review of VAT returns, • Provide support during external and internal audits, • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business units with financial andaccounting insights, • 3 years of experience in general accounting, • Prior experience in international environments, preferably across multipleentities, • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools, • Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience, • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities, • Background in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment., • Knowledge of Spanish and/or European tax regulations, • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI) Scopely is a global interactive entertainment and mobile-first video game company, home to many top, award-winning experiences such as "MONOPOLY GO!," “Star Trek Fleet Command,” “Stumble Guys,” “MARVEL Strike Force,” and “Yahtzee With Buddies,” among others.
