Are you a payroll professional looking to take the next step in an international, multi-country environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a global payroll function where accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement are truly valued. You will be part of a lean and highly skilled HR structure, supporting payroll operations across Europe and Africa, working closely with HR stakeholders and external vendors in a dynamic, international context. Your Role As a Payroll Specialist , you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering a high level of service to employees and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: End-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries (monthly payrolls, deductions, benefits, taxes and overtime) Ensuring compliance with local payroll, tax and labour regulations Coordinating with external payroll vendors to guarantee accurate and timely payroll delivery Reviewing and validating time and attendance data Processing expatriate shadow payrolls and third-party relocation entries Responding to employee payroll-related queries in a professional and timely manner Maintaining payroll documentation in line with internal policies Supporting internal and external audits Participating in payroll process improvements and change initiatives Managing payroll-related benefits with local and global vendors (pension plans, meal allowance, health insurance, vacation tracking, etc.) Supporting ad-hoc projects in collaboration with HR and payroll leadership What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, Labour Relations or similar Around 5 years of experience in centralized payroll processing, ideally in a multi-country environment Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations and compliance Experience working with international payroll vendors (e.g. ADP, SD Worx or similar) Advanced English (written and spoken) Advanced German is required Experience with HRIS systems (Oracle is a plus) Highly detail-oriented, analytical and organised profile Ability to manage multiple payrolls and deadlines Collaborative mindset and willingness to support and share knowledge Genuine interest in payroll, data and technology What’s On Offer Permanent position Hybrid working model (currently 1 day per week on-site) Flexible working hours Start: 8:00–10:00 am Finish: 5:00–7:00 pm 1-hour lunch break 25 days of annual leave + national and local public holidays International environment with multi-country exposure Competitive compensation package: Level 6: ~€50,000 gross/year + benefits Level 5: ~€45,000 gross/year + benefits Benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, pension plan, meal allowance, home-office support and wellness initiatives Collaborative culture with a strong focus on work-life balance Interested?
