Job Summary Defines and implements strategies addressed to market requirements for Microbiology laboratory automation solutions. Performs product management of a dedicated product line. Prepares a marketing support program for a specific product, product line, or product area. Coordinates its implementation with technical service, logistics, contracting services, distribution partners and sales organization. Provides marketing assistance to field personnel and customers. Key Accountabilities • Acts as key marketing technical liaison on all given product lines, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service and customers, • Keeps informed about developments in medical instrumentation/diagnostic industry as they apply to the company’s future marketing plans, • Provides first level, remote and on-site technical, applications, operations and regulatory support to critical and key customer accounts, assisting them with the integration of systems in their laboratories, • Interfaces with all levels of management to independently resolve conflicts/problems with company peers, • Contacts with Suppliers regarding product issues, incidences and updates., • Attends to follow up meetings and Distributor meetings/courses., • Conducts assessments to add new solutions to Werfen’s portfolio., • Coordinates with different stakeholders/providers to conduct new projects/developments., • Maintains regular communications with technical services on problems with hardware and software solutions, • Develop and provides detailed technical training for sales staff; works with field sales staff to implement automation solutions, • Provides demos/presentations to customers, • Contributes to planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials; writes technical bulletins and newsletters, • Understands all maintenance, performance, and advantages of Werfen’s portfolio of the product line assigned and competitive products, • Manages and drives internal projects with minimal supervision, • Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics Networking/Key relationships • Commercial team: AMs, KAMs and SAS, • Technical Service & HelpLine, • Logistics, • Contracting and Customer Service, • Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, • IT & BU HITS, • Legal and Compliance, • Distributed companies Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: • Education • Education o Bachelor´s or Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Medical Engineering, Biomedicine, Microbiology, Medical Technology or related clinical discipline valuable, • Additional degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent preferred • Experience • Minimum three years’ experience in healthcare industry or related with either hospital (or healthcare facilities), IVD laboratory or Medical devices related activity. • Additional Skills/Knowledge • Languages:, • English, advanced, • Spanish, proficiency, • Portuguese, valuable Skills & Capabilities: • Competencies in automation system integration and implementation, • Competencies in areas of continuous improvement/lean methodologies (process analysis, laboratory operations), • Business Acumen and results driven, • Effective team-player, • Ability to work independently managing assigned projects, • Excellent customer-facing presence, presentation and communication skills, • Customer Focus, • Organizational Agility, • Ability to build strong business relationships, • Planning Travel requirements: • Travelling time up to 60%, • Territory • Spain and Portugal, • Others, occasionally due to business activity Individual Contributor Core Competencies: Managing Work Effectively managing one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
