Position overview: We're seeking a Service Manager with experience in managing technical operations, specifically in Oracle environments, to be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of IT services, ensuring that they meet the needs of our organization and our internal clients. This role requires experience specifically in Oracle Cloud (among other Oracle products), to lead service delivery provided by an external partner, ensure operational continuity, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors. Main target for this position is ensuring the Oracle ERP effectively supports the organization’s business processes with the required technical quality. As the Service Manager, you will: Manage the IT service in charge of the daily operations of the Oracle system (which support corporate ERP), ensuring availability, performance, and compliance with corporate SLAs. Define SoW and SLAs with vendors and partners. Monitor KPIs and produce regular reports on service status. Coordinate with technical, functional teams and vendors to define technical architectures, manage incident resolution and deliver requested improvements. Oversee system changes, updates, and patches, ensuring proper planning and execution by the assigned partner. Define and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and contingency plans. Participate in Oracle ERP evolution projects, including integrations, migrations, and new features, from a technical operations point of view. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulations. Act as the main point of contact for internal business partners and external technical providers regarding the ERP. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills Spanish & English (C1 as a minimum), with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire colleagues, manage conflicts, and drive performance. Incident and Problem Management: Lead the response to major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement best practices to enhance service delivery. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that IT services comply with industry standards and regulations. Our ideal candidate will have: University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Over 5 years of experience in IT service management, with a significant experience on day-to-day support Oracle products. Proven experience in IT service management, preferably under ITIL framework. Knowledge of Oracle platforms (eBusiness Suite, Oracle Cloud, or others). Experience in defining and managing technical vendors and support contracts, based on SLAs. Experience in agreeing the evolution of the enterprise architecture with other technical teams Experience in dealing with business partners and users, participating in the definition of technical requirements Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, and excellent communication abilities. High level of English (spoken and written). Additional preferred skills: ITIL v4 certification Experience in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud). Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
